Casino construction gets underway
Kraus-Anderson (KA) recently began construction on 400 Horses Casino, located west of Polson on tribal land and managed by S&K Gaming for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
Designed by LSE Architects, the project on Irvine Flats Road features a 34,227-square-foot, family-friendly casino with 300 gaming machines and space for future expansion. The casino will include a restaurant and 400 parking spaces.
According to a press release, KA has partnered with Native American communities for more than 40 years to build gaming, resort and hospitality destinations, as well as community resources including schools, healthcare facilities, supportive housing, service and community centers.
Construction on the new casino is expected to be completed in the summer of 2026.
