Lawrence Ruffatto, 93

Larry Pete Ruffatto, 93 of Ronan, was born Nov. 18, 1931, in Corvallis, and went to rest on April 29, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. He passed peacefully. 

Larry served in the Air Force, then hauled milk for Foremost Dairy in the Mission Valley for many years. He then used his self-taught craftsman skills to build and remodel homes in the Mission Valley.

He loved horses and animals and was an active member of Back Country Horseman. His favorite season was fall hunting season. He had many successful big game hunts.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Ruffatto.

He is survived by his long-time partner, Carol McCrum; his sons, Rick Ruffatto and Gere Ruffatto; daughters Valerie Ruffatto and Angie Ruffatto; and extended family Tomo Ruffatto, grandchildren Leo, Harv and Mia in Japan, and Olivia and Ribo Ruffatto in Spain.

He will be laid to rest in Corvallis Cemetery. Family and friends held a graveside gathering on May 13, 2025, for his final resting place.
