The Mission-Arlee-Charlo (MAC) softball team delivered a dominant stretch of play over four days, winning six of seven games and improving to 17-5 on the season. With their bats staying hot and pitching depth on display, MAC secured big wins over Powell County, Anaconda, Huntley Project, and Cut Bank, while also dropping a close one to Conrad and another tight contest to Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua.

MAC opened their May 6 doubleheader with a 19-3 win over Powell County in three innings. The lineup erupted for 16 hits and 19 runs, highlighted by multi-hit games from Kieran Incashola, Avia Lee, Maddy Hanken, Amelia Cronk, Kensey Burke and Maia Christopher. Incashola also picked up the win in the circle, striking out six over three innings. She also hit a home run in the matchup.

In game two that afternoon, MAC blanked Anaconda 14-0. Bella Ellison and Domebo combined for a no hitter. Ellison retired the first out before Jada Domebo pitched the final 4 and 2/3 innings. GG Hawk homered and drove in two runs, while Avia Lee and Amelia Cronk each drove in two runs. Lee had two doubles as well.

On May 9, MAC dropped a wild 11-8 game to Conrad. Despite leading 8-2 in the fifth inning, MAC couldn’t overcome an nine-run barrage by the Cowdogs in the final two frames. Christopher and Incashola each had two hits, while Maddy Hanken and Alecia Steele drove in two runs.

MAC rebounded immediately with a 13-6 win over Huntley Project later that day. Incashola went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and Christopher reached base six times and scored three runs. The team racked up 15 hits, with five runs in both the third and fourth inning. Domebo pitched all seven innings for the win, striking out two and allowing six earned runs.

On May 10, MAC suffered a tough 6-5 loss to Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua. Despite taking a 5-3 lead into the bottom of the sixth, the Scotties rallied with three runs in the final two frames. Hanken homered, while GG Hawk had two hits and an RBI.

MAC capped the week in dominant fashion with a 14-2 victory over Cut Bank, scoring 14 runs in the first three innings. Christopher had two home runs and drove in four runs, and Maddy Hanken had three hits and an RBI. Incashola pitched five solid innings, allowing just two runs while striking out four.
