Polson Baseball picks up two victories
The Polson Pirates continued their impressive run through the spring season, going 3-1 over a busy stretch of games and improving to 12-5 on the year. Polson earned wins over Plains-Hot Springs and Frenchtown before falling to a red-hot Columbia Falls team on May 12.
On May 6, the Pirates posted a 10-0 mercy-rule win over Plains-Hot Springs. The trio of Carson Emerson, Mitchell Kauley, and Caleb Groferer combined to throw a no-hitter over seven innings, striking out five and walking just three.
Caleb Gfroerer led the way with two hits and an RBI, while Eli Evenson had a double and two RBI.
