| May 15, 2025 12:00 AM

Registration is now open for a free Drug Awareness and Community presentation by the Polson Police Department and the Flathead Tribal Police on Wednesday, June 19, at the library in Polson.

Sessions will be offered at 9 a.m. and another at 4:30 p.m. Both will feature the same content.

According to Polson Police Chief George Simpson, “This important community presentation will provide updates on historical drug cases and current drug trends affecting the Flathead Reservation.” He added that the session aims to raise awareness and foster community involvement in addressing the ongoing challenges related to drug activity in the area.

“This is a valuable opportunity for community members to stay informed and engaged in efforts to address drug-related issues on the Flathead Reservation,” Simpson said.

Although attendance is free and open to the public, space is limited to 35 attendees per session so advance registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to stop by the library or call 406-883-8225 to reserve a spot.
