A Missoula woman is accused of dealing drugs in Lake County. Reba Hawkins, 37, entered a plea of not guilty in District Court in Polson May 15 to felony criminal possession with intent to distribute.

According to court records, on Nov. 18, 2023, a confidential informant contacted law enforcement to report that Hawkins was coming to Pablo from Ronan for a drug deal and was driving a newer white four-door Kia sedan.

When a vehicle matching that description showed up to the location described by the informant, law enforcement was waiting. Hawkins was driving and known by the awaiting officer to be on probation.

The officer had permission to search her vehicle pursuant to Hawkins’s probation officer. The search turned up more than 65 grams of methamphetamine, 124 fentanyl pills, with the “M-30” stamp, and 2.7 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.

Judge John A. Mercer set the case for trial on Sept. 8 and agreed to lower her bond from $50,000 to $10,000.
