Sharbono tops in Class B discus

At the 2025 MHSA Class B/C State Track and Field Championships, held May 22–24 at Missoula County Public Schools Stadium, Lake County had one state champion and several placers.
Mission High School's standout performance came from junior Ryan Sharbono, who clinched the Class B boys discus title with a throw of 165 feet, 6 inches, the best throw of his career.
Mission’s Iyezk Umphrey was seventh in the triple jump, with a season-best 40-10.50 for the senior. Teammate Harlon Leighman was sixth in the 3,200-meter race with a career-best mark of 9:52.38 for the senior.
Arlee’s Karma Tibbetts placed 10th in the Class B Pole Vault event as a sophomore with a mark of 8-00. Charlo junior Leah Cahoon placed eighth in the high jump with a mark of 4-10 in the Class C section of the meet.
