Mathias was 20 inches and weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. His parents are Rebecca and Christopher Groessler. His maternal grandparents are Mary Katherine Bright-Nissen and Carl Nissen and William Martin. His paternal grandparents are Margit Groessler and Cindy McCoy.
