A driver takes a lap during a test and tune day Saturday at the Mission Valley Super Oval in Pablo. The racetrack’s season officially opens Saturday with a slate of hornets, mod 4's, hobby stocks, INEX legends and late models. Time trials begin at 6 p.m. Racing is slated for nine other weekends throughout the summer, including the Montana 200, with a $10,000 top prize, the weekend of July 15-17. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for ages 8-14, and $8 for age 55 and older. Children age 7 and younger get in for free. (Scot Heisel/Lake County Leader)
