Local firefighters rallied Friday morning to escort the remains of longtime firefighter Elton Ross Hoyt from Polson to the Big Arm Fire Hall. Hoyt, who died Jan. 23, helped build the Big Arm Fire Hall and was a volunteer firefighter for 20 years. He also helped renovate the Big Arm School to serve as a community center.
