Fort Connah beckons visitors to a taste of the 1840s

Storm Dancer, Jocko Hendrickson’s paint mare, didn’t like them, but the skirling of the Great Scots bagpipes made it seem like Fort Connah in its youth, if the fences, houses dotting the foothills of the Mission Mountains, and the vehicles could have been whisked away. Fort Connah hosted its annual rendezvous on Father’s Day weekend.
