Quinn (3) and Laila (5) Hendrychs graduated from the 1K Books Before Kindergarten program, meaning they finished reading 1,000 books before kindergarten (thanks to a little help from parents Katie and Nic). Their recommendations? "The Berenstain Bears" and "Magic Tree House" series. Their feat earned both girls a graduation ceremony at the North Lake County Public Library last Friday.
