District Court Judge Katherine Bidegaray, who is vying for a position on the Montana Supreme Court, made a campaign stop in Lake County recently with retired Justice Mike Wheat. Bidegaray, who was raised on a farm in Richland County, has been elected four times to the bench of the Montana 7th Judicial District, representing Dawson, McCone, Prairie, Richland, and Wibaux Counties – experience she says will serve her well on the Supreme Court.
