Cletus Joseph Licht, 98, passed away at his home in St. Ignatius on Jan. 14, 2019. He was born in Seco, Mont., on March 5, 1920, to Herman and Sophia Licht. His employment career included carpentry/construction, and he never completely retired, always doing something. Cletus loved to cook and feed everyone. He loved every year during Good Ol’ Days when he had his rib stand, which he was well known for.

At Frenchtown, the Ronan Chiefs played relatively shoulder-to-shoulder with their opponent through the first quarter, but the Broncs galloped off for over 50 points through the middle frames to decide the outcome. The contest was a rematch of an early season Tip-Off encounter in which Frenchtown had narrowly eeked out a 57-52 victory.
