POLSON — Maria Lee Timm, 87, died July 14, 2005, in her sleep at Evergreen extended care facility. She was born July 11, 1918, to Herman and Annie Viola (Brown) Rigal in Casper, Wyo. Her mother died when Maria was three and she was raised by her father. Maria attended Casper schools, graduating from St. Anthony Elementary Catholic School and Natrona County High School in 1936. Following graduation she was employed as a piano player and singer at a Casper radio station, on a dude ranch near Dubois, Wyo., and for Ma Bell as a telephone operator.

Cheryl Jean McDaniel, 71

Cheryl Jean McDaniel passed away peacefully at her home in Polson on April 23, 2020. Cheryl was born on June 16, 1948 in Pocatello, Idaho to Floyd and Marilyn McDaniel. Cheryl was the oldest of 11 siblings and grew up in Pocatello. After graduating from Pocatello high school in 1967 Cheryl moved to Tacoma, Wash., where she continued her education and became an LPN. After working many years as an LPN Cheryl decided she wanted a change of scenery and in 1978 moved to Helena. While living in Helena, Cheryl worked as veterinarian assistant until 1980 when she moved into the Mission Valley. While living in the Mission Valley Cheryl volunteered at the Mission Valley animal shelter and worked several jobs including ranching, school bus driver and a home caregiver until her retirement in 2002.

With 65 voices singing in harmony, conductor Michael Culloton brings The Concordia Choir from Moorhead, Minn., to perform in Missoula at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Prior to the concert, the choir have a song share event with the Polson High School choir, which is taught by Concordia College alumna Kaylee Shirtliff. The two choirs will perform songs for each other.

Robert William (Rob) McDonald, M.D. was born March 8, 1968 in Weymouth, Mass. In late may, 1968, Robert was adopted by William T. (Bill) and Esther Louise (Pink) McDonald of Wayland, Mass. In early August 1968 the McDonald family moved from Massachusetts to Dana Point, Orange County, Calif. Robert grew up and lived there until he moved to Hoover, Ala.
